Media stays on your device

Videos and audio selected in EasyEdit are read and processed locally by your browser with WebAssembly. EasyEdit does not upload your media to a server for editing, conversion, or storage.

Your browser keeps temporary working data in memory and creates local download URLs. Closing the tab or replacing the selected file removes that working data according to normal browser behavior.

Website analytics

EasyEdit uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and performance. Depending on the provider configuration, this may include the page visited, referrer, browser or device category, approximate region, and technical performance data.

EasyEdit does not send selected media, filenames, media contents, or editing settings to website analytics.

Hosting and technical logs

The site is hosted by Vercel. As with most hosted services, requests may generate security and operational logs such as IP address, request time, requested URL, and user-agent information. These records are handled under the hosting provider’s configuration and policies.

Retention and your choices

EasyEdit does not provide user accounts and does not maintain a server-side library of your media. Analytics and hosting data may be retained according to the configured provider retention periods.

You can stop website processing by leaving the site and can use browser privacy controls or network-level blocking for third-party analytics requests.

This policy may be updated when the service or its providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
